We booked this little get-a-way through a travel web site that actually gave this dump good reviews. We booked it for price and because it's pet friendly. Went to check in and the desk guy was very friendly so that was a plus. We got our "pet-friendly" room. Wow what we should have done was go back and ask for our money back and left but we didn't. Unlocked the door and was welcomed by the over powering smell of pine cleaner. They are remodeling the room beside and I assume the white dust smeared over the mirror was the dust. The table was all stained as was the bedspread on one of the beds. The handle to the nightstand table was hanging by one screw and there was a deep gash in the dresser. The TV is still on analogue and the shower doesn't warm up past lukewarm. My cat was terrified of the room and hid under the bed. I bent down to pick up something I had dropped and the smell of old animal urine was over powering. We stayed 2 nights and as a result I now have a very sick cat. $900 later we learned that more than likely her lungs are inflamed from the chemicals used to "clean" the room. This place is a hellhole and I highly recommend spending a few dollars more at a better hotel.
The desk clerk was friendly.
My cat is highly sick.

The hotel had a good location, close to shopping and dining options. It was also conveniently located near the interstate, making it easy to access. Another advantage was that the hotel allowed pets, which was a plus for travelers with furry friends.
There were several negative aspects to my stay at this hotel. the continental breakfast was poorly stocked and the staff seemed disinterested in their duties.
